In July 2005, during a fourteen-hour family road trip, somewhere between Maryland and
Missouri, Goodie Bags was conceived.

Having created gift baskets for friends and receiving positive reactions I realized not only
would I enjoy my new venture but there really was a need in my area for kosher gifts and
candy.  After researching products and design techniques, I took a leap and started the
only kosher gift basket and candy business in Silver Spring, Maryland, and as they say,
the rest is history.
